What the title of this blog mean? well, it means really not a lot. Pokerstars has always been the better site in terms of accounting and customer service. There has been rumors out there that FTP cannot pay and they are stalling. This is not true. FTP knows it has to pay because of the deal they have made with The DOJ. AP/UB, did not make a deal with The DOJ. This is one reason. There are several more reasons the rumors are not true;
1. FTP has several owners who are Americans. Failure to live up to the deal FTP made with The DOJ could result in further indictments of some of those people.
2. FTP is in a better cash position than AP/UB; AP/UB was already struggling after the Russ Hamilton fiasco, and had a very low market share. In comparision, FTP had the biggest USA Market share and still has a decent chunk of the EU Market.
FTP will pay, it is just taking them some time to do so, getting their books in order, figuring out who is is owed what, etc.. Do not beleive the rumors. Please use your heads and consider carefully the reasons I mention why FTP will in fact pay what is owed to all of you!

Let’s say hypothetically that FTP is in the process of getting the money they do not have currently, back to USA players.. The Company is worth a ton of money, even after this latest hit.. for all the reasons I mention above, do you guys really beleive FTP is lying/stalling because do not have/ cannot get the money? If this was the case, they would literally FLY THE COUPE, not update people on what they are doing.. Granted. I think FTP has taken a wrong route with this, because everytime they seem to indicate an important announcement, it is just more of of the same cock and bull from the get go, “we are working on it” FTP will do, and I hear, is doing EVERYTHING NECASSARY to pay USA PLAYERS… Do you really beleive they will risk being PERSONALLY ruined themselves over this? Let’s say hypthetically, they mismanaged USA players money before the busts.. they have the assests to get this resolved, and they will, or they will be facing possible further indictments… They will pay because IT IS IN THEIR OWN SELF INTEREST TO PAY! Yes, this shit sucks, no question.. All the more reason we need fully regulated, ONSHORE, state and federally licensed online poker rooms, so we can ensure this kind of shit never happens again! That we actively pursue and demand our constitutional rights are being upheld.
I beleive it is up to each of us as Americans to understand every risk in every action we take or do not take, to clearly understand all the ramifications of such non action and inaction. I have in the past, tried to lay out clearly, all the ramifications of any and all “gaming activity” that was deemed “illegal” by certain Federal Statutes, State Statutes, etc, etc. Admittely, I am a “nobody’ in the poker world, and I do not pretend to be. I do not like Poker world to be honest. Tons of freaking cheats, liars. scumbags, etc.. Not all, most most of them.. I do not mean you online playes, but the ” good ole boys” of the game… I am a talk show host, and a person who really does try to help others. While I do talk about the game, and try to offer valuable insight, I am not really a poker player, professionally that is.. But I have been around the scene a long time observing what goes on, and I was a cash game player semi-professionally..I want people to fully understand this. so they know my motivations here on this issue.. Please note, I make NO MONEY FROM THIS, other than people buying a pair of glasses on average, one pair a week, and donations, which I have received none! Also note, that I have said things and done things, even to the point of pissing my brother off, Mike Matusow. I am no Joe Sebok, in whom I find his declarations and actions to have been seriously unethetical at the least.. I wont make an excuse for someone like ” oh I am sure he is a nice guy”.. who fking cares? He took money from UB/AP while promising to “investigate” those sites.. REPREHENSIBLE, no matter what his motivation was/is.
Poker is a great game that many can enjoy on a recreational level, while others can make a nice living from it.. But this shit has happened because of greed, serious fking dishonesty, ignorance, apathy, and you name it man!! It is time to stop and let’s all of us get real here and work to resolve this, think rationally and clearly, then look forward to regulated USA onlne poker sites, sooner than many of you might think!! How come FTP has yet to get back to me at all? Account frozen pending verification since April 1st. Last time I was in touch with support was April 13th. Ever since then, no one has answered my emails. I am unable to even log into my account to even look at my funds.
I guess my real question is..what is support doing?
Full Tilt has owed me $700 for six months and there was excuse after excuse for not paying me. I think they’re broke. I complined to the DOJ and they tole me that there are thousands like me out there. Just saying.
Support is doing what they are instructed to do by the upper management.. at best, you will get canned responses. and worst, no reply.. You should complain to The DOJ.. The DOJ gave back FTP their american domain for the sole purpose to pay players.. FTP has agreed to do so.. Please read my post here again, as I have updated it with some new info, thanks!!
The FTP haters are killing me. These are the same people who thought FTP was the greatest thing since sliced cheese when the Black Card program and Rush Poker debuted. DID NOT EVERY POKER BLOGGER AND THE PPA WARN PEOPLE TO ONLY KEEP SMALL AMOUNTS ONLINE? The UIGEA clearly started the Doomsday countdown for the off shore sites but nobody listened. I have a decent chunk of change online but it is not necessary for me to access my poker bankroll to fee my family. Everybody knew the risks and should really man up and quit pissing about FTP being slow. YOU BOUGHT GOLF BALLS ONLINE TO PLAY POKER PEOPLE. WHY ARE YOU PISSED THEY GOT CAUGHT?
