“Miami has the ball, 5 minutes left, trail by 4, Chalmers sets top of key, passes to James. James passes back to Chalmers. Chalmers passes to Wade, Wade passes back to James. James passes to Haslem, back to James. James passes to Miller, back to James. James passes to Bibby, back to James, James passes to the FREAKIN HOT DOG VENDOR, who of course, passes back to James.”
The above is a somewhat satirical view of the 4th quarter of the last 3 games of The NBA Championship Series, which The Dallas Mavericks did deservingly win The NBA Title.(making my prediction for Miami incorrect for only the 2nd time in 25 years when knowing the finals matchup) Lebron likes to play “Hot Potato” with the Ball, and without question, he is truly “THE KING” of “Hot Potato.” James is the best player in the league, are you sure about that? Does the best player in the league want the ball in crunch time situations, or does he pass it constantly. as if the damned ball is a Hot Potato?
Lebron with his slap-in-the-face, Cleveland insulting debacle “The Decision” certainly took his talents to South Beach.. Those Same ”talents” we saw last year verses Boston;
When the going gets tough, pass on open shots, pass the ball to someone else, wither away and lack the responsibility that goes along with REALLY being The Best player in The League. LeBron constantly shows that he cannot, and will not accept responsibility late in games to be “The Man.” Granted, Spolestra’s poor in game coaching did not help matters, as Miami was never able to figure out The 2-3 double high Zone Defense of The Mavs. (which any good coach can easily adjust to by running double screen/picks, with Back door cuts)
What exactly are we witnesses to, LeBron James, a self-centered spoiled child who will not step up and accept the role of being “The Man” when it really counts?
Consider this, Kobe Byrant is criticized for not passing enough late in games, but you tell me, who is really the better player when it really counts? In last years finals, game 7, Kobe was shooting poorly. After halftime, Kobe played smoothering defense, and ended up with 15 rebounds!
6’6 Kobe pulls down 15! Kobe did what was needed to win. How many rebounds did LeBron have in game 6 on Sunday? 4, that is right, 4 rebounds for a guy 2 inches taller than Kobe, and a lot bigger! WE ARE WITNESSES LEBRON, we witnessed yet another dissapearing act pulled by you in a huge game when it really matters.. We are witnesses that you are stat padder, but not when it really counts! Contrast this to Dirk Nowitzki, Dirk sucked for 3 quarters, but in the 4th, he stepped up bigtime for Dallas.
LeBron of course loves to play Hot Potato at press conferences as well. Did anyone catch “The King” basically insult the working class people of America, while suggesting that ” I am rich, you are poor, your lives suck, mine rocks” He passed the ball there as well, to us, “The Little people”
LeBron is a class A RUSTY TOOL-SHED.. Yes, I am a little more hard on him this time around, because I hate being wrong about predicting The NBA Finals. I had faith in so called “King,” I believed he would rise above his past chokes and step it up. I believed that finally, Lebron had grown up emotionally.. Well, I was wrong, Dallas was clearly the better team. Dirk was clearly the man, (I said Dirk would never win an NBA title, I was wrong) and Lebron was the punk. We saw Lebron play a great game of Hot Potato with the ball late in games 3,4,5,6.. I believe if Wade was healthy, Lebron would have gotten his ring inspite of his withered self. But Wade, the real leader of The Heat, was not healthy, and that is just part of the game, it is how it goes.
I really do not want to see LeBron get a ring until when and if he ever decides to act like a real man, instead of a spoiled self entitled egotistical punk.
I was a witness, we all were witnesses.
Congrats to The Dallas Mavericks, men who deserved to win it all!
